Bath Philharmonic Orchestra is launching two new ticket offers for its 2026/27 season, designed to make it easier for audiences to take their first steps into live orchestral music – and to explore more once they have.
Bath Phil Discover offers a free ticket to experience a live orchestra for the first time. No previous knowledge or experience is needed – just come along, take your seat and discover what a live orchestra can do.
For those who have already experienced Bath Phil, Bath Phil Explore offers £6 tickets (£7.50 including per order processing fee) for selected concerts, making it easier to come back for more. Audiences can explore different sounds, composers and artists, and find the music that speaks to them.
The new tickets reflect Bath Philharmonic Orchestra’s commitment to making outstanding live orchestral music accessible to as many people as possible. These offers build on the orchestra’s work to remove barriers to participation and welcome new audiences, including its previous Bath Phil for Free initiative, which last year, distributed over 3000 free tickets to households across Bath and North East Somerset.
Something for everyone
Bath Phil’s 2026/27 season offers plenty to discover, with five concerts at The Forum featuring an exciting line-up of musicians and music.
Audiences can experience the power of over 50 professional musicians on stage performing with some of the world’s best classical artists, including pianists Mariam Batsashvili, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason and Alexandra Dariescu, violinist Esther Yoo, cellist Guy Johnston and soprano Sophie Bevan. From thrilling orchestral masterpieces to brand-new music and the inspiring voices of Young Carers, Bath Phil’s new season celebrates the power of music to connect us all.
