Laure Dabre tells me there will be 2 free screenings of the PEOPLE’S EMERGENCY BRIEFING film, fronted by Chris Packham, on 16th October at the All Saints Centre in Weston, BATH BA1 4BX, at 2 pm and 6.30 pm.
This is a free event on the climate and nature crisis with discussions afterwards.
Also present will be Wera Hobhouse, our local MP, the Mayor of Bath, Councillor Ruth Malloy, Dr Stanislav Schmelev, a high-profile ecological economist (https://www.clubofrome.org/member/shmelev-stanislav/ and https://environmenteurope.eu/) who now lives in Bath and James Godman, creator of The Frome International Climate Film Festival.
There will also be representatives from local groups very much involved in nature and in tackling climate change. Come and discover what is already done in Bath and around.
This will be a chance for local people to come together, hear the up-to-date evidence about the climate crisis and see what to do about it.
There is clear evidence that urgent action will strengthen our economy, resilience, and quality of life.
