It’s the national flower of Mexico and one of our most popular garden flowers. Dahlias come in a multitude of colours, and there are tens of thousands of cultivated varieties.
Teresa Payne writes: “We are a new Dahlia Society and are holding our first show on Saturday 5th September in The Urban Garden Centre in Marlborough Buildings.
We will have a few classes for experienced exhibitors as well as single bloom classes for new growers.
We are on both Facebook and Instagram.”
