Waiting at Bath Spa Station for a train to Cardiff, my attention was caught by a pair of pigeons busy nest building.
One supervised while the other flew backwards and forwards with twigs and leaves.
For me, it was a lesson in overcoming near-impossible odds, as these birds had managed to find space on a ledge protected by those anti-bird spikes.
Nature finds a way.
Yeah, nature finds a way. Maybe these are the same two pesky birds that attempted to set up home under my bed? Windows open more than usual because of the heat, just a faint burbling gave them away. Despite much frantic towel flapping on my behalf, they ambled out, giving me a cursory glance as if to say “We’ll be back!”
