Just for a change, my ‘pic of the day’ is a person and not a view or object that has stirred my emotions.
A big ‘shout out’ to ALBERT at Take Charge Bikes on the Lower Bristol Road.
While I filled the time shopping in Sainsbury’s, taking coffee and pain aux raisins at Coffee 1 (by the Victoria Bridge) and finally just sitting on the stairs by the bike workshop, he was sharing with Steve; he finally rid my almost-new electric bike of the clicking sound that had been driving me crazy.
I reckon he worked on that front wheel for nearly two hours in an effort to discover which particular part of it was producing a rotational click as l pedalled.
I cycled home with a smile on my face. Thank you Albert.
