It’s good to know temperatures are going to dip a bit this weekend as hundreds of classic cars, roaring motorbikes, and live bands are set to take centre stage in Upper Lansdown as the Bath Festival of Motoring and Music returns to raise vital funds for local emergency and youth charities.
The two-day, family-friendly spectacular, run by Bath’s Rotary Club and supported by Bath Recreation, will take place on SATURDAY 27th and SUNDAY 28th June at the Walcot Rugby Ground (directly opposite the Lansdown Park and Ride).
What’s On: Cars, Chords, and Kids’ Activities
This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, transforming the rugby ground into a bustling hub of entertainment. Visitors can look forward to:
• A 500-Vehicle Display: A journey through automotive history featuring vintage gems, classic motorbikes, and rare modern supercars.
• Two Live Music Stages: Showcasing the very best in local musical talent throughout both days.
• Family Fun: A dedicated all-day show arena, plus dedicated children’s activities, and a massive selection of local food and drink stalls.
Driving Support for Local Causes
Organised entirely by the team from the Rotary Club of Bath, the event will see 100% of its proceeds go directly back into regional charities. This year’s main charity beneficiaries are the Bath and Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Bloodbikes, and the local children’s charity, the Glasshouse Academy.
