[You’ll find Colourscape at Bath Recreation Ground (via William Street), Pulteney Mews, Bathwick, Bath BA2 4DS]
Down at Bath Rec this afternoon, under a blue sky and delightfully cooling breeze, I heard one person describe the strange-looking collection of inter-connecting chambers spread out in one corner of the ground as about the best legal high you can get!

You’ll have to be of my generation to understand what he was talking about, but having experienced what Colourscape has to offer l have to agree that whatever your age, you’ll be blown away by your walk into and through what is a giant labyrinth of colour and light.
It’s where visitors explore glowing chambers while wearing coloured cloaks.

For our preview, there were no musicians inside, but from tomorrow, when the experience opens to the public, you may encounter live music and performances, ‘creating an immersive journey through colour, sound and space.’
The installation is tucked into a corner of Bath Rec and is open from 11 am until 4.10 pm from Saturday, May 23rd, through to Sunday, May 31st. Tickets cost £15 for adults and £12 for children aged 12 years and under.
Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Your timed ticket allows approximately 40 minutes inside Colourscape to explore the installation.

Colourscape is presented by Eye Music, Crescent Music and Bath Arts Collective in partnership with Bath Recreation Ground, with support from Bath Rugby and the Roper Family Charitable Trust.
