[Glenn Brown at the Holburne Museum]
What do you do as an artist when two Bath museums both approach you at the same time to come and exhibit?
Well, if you are one of the most celebrated painters to come out of the Young British Artists generation and also happen to be an ex-local art student, you say yes to both.

That’s how Glenn Brown comes to have exhibitions currently running at both the Holburne Museum and No 1 Royal Crescent.

He’s chosen ‘Brown in Bath’ to cover both.
No 1 opens its exhibition today. It’s called ‘Glenn Brown:Grottoesque’ and runs through to September 6th. Meanwhile,

I was at the Holburne last night to meet him as he welcomed visitors to his ‘intervention’ within the museum’s permanent collection entitled ‘Arrows of Desire’.
