The central support for a bridge recently removed alongside the new housing development on the old gas works site.
Could this be a base for a River Avon sculpture? Can you think of any other use?

Perfect for a sculpture!
It must have been a conscious decision to leave this central support as there was a huge amount of plant and equipment on site dealing with the removal of the bridge. Be interesting to know what the thought process was as it is not a very attractive feature. Perhaps just lack of money?
River”side” coffee shop?
Coffe Shop? I’ll bring my swimwear.
An interesting idea but one that would likely become a dangerous target for graffiti which already disfigures the first stage of the River Line.
