Over to you

Keith Rossiter writes:

“After cycling into Bath with my neighbour Terry, we sat outside Silcox Cafe in Kingsmead Square.

The sun was bringing into sharp focus the bomb shrapnel and – allegedly – machine gun damage to the old Labour Exchange building.  It was damaged during the Bath Blitz of 25 -27 April 1942.

Such a contrast – the terror of those two nights and a peaceful, sunny location for an early morning coffee.”

  1. Interesting to see the photo of damage done to the building in Bath during Second World War.
What is slightly more interesting to me is your name!!!
My name is John Keith Rossiter, Born in Bath, one year after the end of the war. Are we related? Probably not! Apart from my father and brother I have never met another Rossiter, let alone one who shares 2/3 of my name! Meet for a coffee perhaps!.
