Celebrating nature.

I chanced upon a lovely little FREE to view exhibition in the 44AD gallery that you’ll find on the approach to Abbey Green.

Vibrant Pockets is an Art Circle Bath exhibition that ‘celebrates nature’s quiet persistence and the resilience of greenery in contemporary artwork and urban spaces.’

Through painting and sculpture, local artists of Bath explore the use of ‘green’ as pigment, subject, or ecological practice.

Visitors are invited to experience the artworks alongside plants, with talks,
workshops, and shared reflections on rewilding our everyday environments.

Curated by Alisha Stokes, the artists taking part are Iasonas Bakas, Ferlicity Roma Bowers, Deirdre Elphick, Martin Elphick, Matt Evans, Sarah Jane Evans, Susannah Lemon, Amy Orsi Kozel, Michele Silk, Fi Smith, Laura Symes, Andrew Temple Smith, Sr Sabita Tripathy, Melissa Wraxall, Nasim Yazdani and Dian Zapata.

The exhibition runs until April 12th.

  1. Hi Richard

Great to see. We all have a duty to take care of nature and protect the environment and these paintings look great.

Can remember you on htv with Alison Holloway and Bruce hockin. Bruce still loves the horse racing. I want to school with his son Giles.
