It’s always nice when one of my blog followers comes up with something of interest to include in this daily feature.

Dr Michael Pritchard writes: “Something is afoot on the private lawn in front of the Royal Crescent.

A strip running immediately alongside the ha ha on the residents’ side has been seeded with wildflowers and covered in netting, presumably so the birds don’t make off with the seeds. (see pics).

Also I noticed this morning that the Georgian Garden has been tidied up and the planted areas weeded.

A shame about the graffiti on the information board, though.”

Thanks for highlighting Richard. Yes. Residents are part way through a re-wilding project that started 3 years ago. Now sowing additional wildflowers for increased colour and biodiversity. There will be additional flowering this summer, but results won’t be seen in full till next year.
