A good sign

[The old H&M store, which is due to be taken over by UNIQLO]

With UNIQLO – the Japanese retailer – due to open a big store in Bristol’s Cabot Circus on April 16th, I’ve come across further proof of their intention to also come to our city.

A photomontage of how the signs might look in place. Taken from the planning application.

There’s a B&NES planning application in place for permission to erect illuminated signs on the external facade of the old H & M store in St Lawrence Street. This, of course, is in the middle of the Southgate Shopping Centre.

  1. Always thought it odd to have two H&M stores in adjacent streets but they should have closed the other one. We’ve now we’ve lost the mens’ and children’s departments.
