Keeping the lights on at Bath City FC

Some days, emails arrive so quickly that they push other messages off my viewing page and things get overlooked and forgotten.

So apologies to Dave Matthews, who has recently stepped into the role of Marketing Director for Bath City FC. I have just found your email!

He writes: We’ve just launched a crowdfunder to help replace the floodlights at the Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park.

We’re calling it “Keep the Lights On at Bath City”, and this page tells the whole story

http://www.bathcityfc.com/keep-the-lights-on-at-bath-city

In short, the current floodlights have reached the end of their life, and if we can’t replace them, the club could lose the ability to host evening fixtures.

As you can imagine, that would be a huge blow, not just for the club but for the wider community that uses the ground.

We’re directing all of our marketing towards that page, so anything that helps more people see it really matters

Given your work with Bath Newseum and your connections across Bath, I wondered if you might be open to helping share the campaign or pointing us towards anyone locally who might be interested in getting involved.

We’re just trying to make sure as many people in the city as possible hear about it.

Really appreciate you taking the time to read this.”

Hope giving it a mention across my blog followers will help David.
