Pix of the day. Tuesday, January 20th

Somehow l missed National Pothole Day on the 15th, so l have included a few local examples from the London Road and central Bath to make up for it.

Great Pulteney Street

Don’t they look extra-special, filled with rainwater, and we’ve certainly had our fill of that.

Speaking of ‘filling’ – patching doesn’t work. The tarmac just gets pushed out.

Was woken in the early hours by the sound of water cascading onto our metal porch canopy from a gutter that just couldn’t cope.

Roll on some gentle April showers.
