Bath Rugby is inviting the next generation of fans to experience the roar of The Rec, with special ticket offers for children and students for their upcoming PREM Rugby Cup clash against Sale Sharks on Saturday, 22 November.
After a sellout crowd at The Rec against Exeter Chiefs in Bath Rugby’s PREM Rugby Cup opener in September, fans old and new can score one of the last remaining matchday tickets, starting from just £10 for both children and students.
Following last season’s treble-winning campaign, the reigning champions of the competition have kicked off their 160th anniversary season with an enhanced matchday experience, guaranteeing an entertaining afternoon for all.
The domestic cup competition is a hotbed of talent and provides opportunities for rising stars, such as England U20 2024 World Cup winners Vilikesa Sela and Arthur Green, eager to pull on the iconic Blue, Black and White jersey in front of fans at the home of Bath Rugby.
Tarquin McDonald, Chief Executive at Bath Rugby, said: “It’s an exciting time to be a Bath Rugby supporter. No team has ever claimed the Cup in back-to-back seasons since its inception, but we’re looking forward to the challenge, and a win against Sale would be another important step towards a successful defence.
“With the Autumn Nations Series in full flow, it’s a brilliant time for rugby and the perfect moment for families, children, and students to experience the unique matchday atmosphere and energy of The Rec for the first time.”
Bath host Sale Sharks, who they defeated 28-16 in the Gallagher PREM Rugby league fixture at The Rec earlier this season.
The round 5 fixture of the PREM Rugby Cup comes after Bath Rugby have won two of their three matches in the competition so far, including a victory last weekend over West Country rivals Bristol Bears in Round 3.
The Rec will open its doors from 13:00 on Saturday 22 November, ahead of kick-off at 15:00.
The all-new matchday experience features live music from resident band Sad Dad Club, selfies with Max the Mascot in the Fan Village, and a brand-new spectacle in the final 10 minutes before kick-off, including the Tunnel of Noise and other pre-match surprises that bring a refreshed look and feel to The Rec.
This includes the new Bowls N Buns food and drink deal available for £16.99, featuring loaded Jambalaya rice or fries bowls and handcrafted stacked buns alongside a drink, available to purchase pre-match via the Bath Rugby website.
Tickets are available from just £10 for juniors and students, and £25 for adults, purchased via the Bath Rugby website.
