Thank you to all of you who have directed my attention to a BBC report https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj6n9g8l1d7o regarding the Cleveland Pools and the fact that, following devastating flood damage, it might not be possible to reopen the lido.
That’s after spending more than nine million pounds restoring it – much of it Heritage Lottery Fund money.
It’s my understanding that the Cleveland Pools Trust will be meeting with B&NES and the Heritage Lottery Fund towards the end of this month, when they will hope to agree on a joint statement.
