Help our City Farm

I am a bit late in supporting Bath City Farm’s Crowdfunder campaign, but here goes.

Clarita Floyd-Sanchez writes:

“I am reaching out to see if you might be able to help us share the news of our Crowdfunder campaign, which is in desperate need of some extra support.

The Story:

Bath City Farm are appealing for help to raise £30,000 to close the gap between costs and grants income. With unprecedented shortfalls in grants and trusts in the current economic climate, the Farm’s vital services rely on public appeals to cover costs.

With a week left of match-funding, Bath City Farm are offering an exciting prize draw for those who donate in the next few days. Our Crowdfunder appeal aims to raise £30,000 to cover the rising costs of running the Farm and our vital social impact programs. Did you know it costs over £2600 to run the Farm and programs each day?

If you donate between now and the end of Friday, 31st Oct, your name will go into a draw to win one of these amazing prizes:

  • A private hands-on animal tour
  • A behind-the-scenes growing tour
  • A bundle of wildflower plug plants
  • Tea and cake for 2 in the Root to Work Cafe.

Names will be drawn next week.

The Farm is a beautiful autumnal scene at the moment, with pumpkins, trees full of orange, red and yellow leaves, all with a stunning view overlooking Bath. “
