Not sure what happened here & didn’t witness it, but this is the second mangled bike ‘shed’ I’ve seen in the same number of weeks. The first being the one by M&S.

Is there something missing from the design, do you think, such as reflectors?
Or does someone have a grievance, l wonder?
I think the damage was caused by the high winds.
This is the problem with the lack of bobbies on the beat these days. When I was a lad, we wouldn’t have tolerated winds, high or otherwise ( it’s no excuse! ) vandalising public property like this
Dear Richard,
I also saw this damaged bike shed. It was damaged by an out of control car,
See link below of a video taken, showing exactly what happened. I hope you can open this link?

It is incredible that the driver drove off after doing so much damage!
Best wishes & keep up the good work.

So odd, I see bike shelters in London which have been in place for 10 years but I have never seen one damaged
Many, many moths ago I asked the Council how these can be placed on the Highway without adequate signage/ lighting etc, e.g. Skips have specific Legislation to protect all road users. Also why they are partly sited on the pavement. Basically the Authorities are not bothered, do what they want until something goes wrong.
Did anyone get the vehicles registration number?
