An inspirational new temporary installation welcomes visitors to Bath Abbey through to November 14th.

Suspended above you are thousands of paper doves inscribed with personal messages from members of the public who have visited the church. Together they form a collective prayer of hope and peace.

This is Peace Doves, a moving artwork by sculptor Peter Walker.

For Christians, the dove is a powerful symbol of God’s love and of hope – despite our turbulent times.
