A week tomorrow, Bath is likely to see the most spectacular Jane Austen Festival Promenade there has been to date.
All the excitement generated by this being the 250th birthday year of the English novelist who lived in our city for a while, and certainly wrote about it in her novels.

Our promenaders from around the world will be starting off from the lawn in front of the Royal Crescent this year.

In the meantime, l thought you might like to catch up with a Wyatt’s Place podcast I did on Spotify back in January with the Festival Director, Georgia Delve. It’s not only rugby fans who put money into the local economy!
