[Widcombe High Street]
Bath photographer Philip Dean set out recently to provide a snapshot of his local community.
He decided to photograph the business owners on Widcombe High Street, standing outside their premises, as a way of getting to know the key people in his local area.
Widcombe Social Club has given him the opportunity of putting them all on display, so those working in the shops get to view their photo alongside their neighbours.
It also means that shoppers can see and name the familiar faces that serve them.
Philip says it’s his way of enhancing the village atmosphere of Widcombe by bringing the community together.
