It went so well last year that RUHX’s new fundraising Glow Run is set to return on Friday, 24 th October.
Taking place after dark, the 3km fun run at Odd Down Sports Ground in Bath follows a lit-up course to guide the way.

The family-friendly event is suitable for all ages and abilities, and fully accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs, with a flat tarmacked course. The event is non-competitive and those taking part can choose to run or walk (or even hop, skip or dance!) their way around the two laps.

Fancy dress is encouraged, with light-up accessories available to purchase on the night.
Ellie Wilkinson, Events & Community Manager at RUHX said: “Our first Glow Run in 2024 saw over 130 local people taking part to light up the night for Royal United Hospitals Bath.
“This year, we’d love to see even more local families get active and have fun while supporting their hospital to do more for patients, families and staff.”
RUHX is currently campaigning to raise over £4 million for a new PET-CT scanner at the hospital, which will provide the latest life-saving technology to thousands of patients in the area. Every penny raised at the event will help the charity to deliver extra extraordinary care for everyone in Bath and beyond.

The event is kindly sponsored by Freestyle Designs in Bath, who have supported the charity for a number of years.
Tickets start at £7.50, with free entry for carers and under 2s. Every Glow Runner will receive a finisher’s medal.
