History on top of history. Councillor Professor Bharat Pankhania becomes the 798th Mayor of Bath in a ceremony at the city’s Abbey. He is also the first Indian to hold that title. Our new ‘First Citizen’ is pictured here between the new Deputy Mayor, Cllr Ian Halsall, and the retiring Mayor, Cllr Michelle O’Doherty. A full report is coming up later.
