Today, l am thanking Rachel Ward for these images taken of work finally underway – on the city stretch of the River Avon – to remove abandoned and sunken boats.
They appear to be walking on water but l take it there is a boat down there!
It’s not a cheap undertaking, and B&NES will be out to recover costs from the owners.
