What’s in Box?

The great thing about the old paper-based IN and OUT tray systems was that you had physical and visual evidence of matters that have to be dealt with.

The difference between that an emails is you tend to get so many that ‘matters of interest’ tend to slip off the computer screen page and can be easily forgotten.

So my apologies to Varian Tye in Box for overlooking the following:

“Hi  Richard,

Some great articles in this January – June 2025  edition of the Cotswold Lion , including on page 8 and 9 Box – Lifting the Lid, see link below.

You may wish to draw the above to your readers’ attention in Bath Newseum.

Best wishes and a Merry Christmas and New Year.”

An extract from the article.

I had a look Varian and agree it’s an interesting historical piece by Katie Jarvis and a great promotion for Box!

Compliments of the Season to you and yours.

  1. Very interesting article on Box my late brother in law was stationed at Royal Arthur at same time as the late Duke of Edinburgh. On one occasion he was late returning back to Camp so he walked through Box Tunnel rather than the main road.
