This is the twelfth year that the Bath – Aix en Provence twinning association has brought the flavours of Provence to the city’s Christmas Market.
All the products on display are from Provence and include typical rosé wine, lovely linen / cotton French tea towels , calissons ( an Aix sweet speciality ) wild bore and similar pates , tapenade , delicious honey and all things lavender !
You can find their stall near Browns and they will be there from 10am to 8 pm on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th and from 10am to 6 pm on Sunday 15th – on the last day.
Marian McNeir , Chairman of the Twinning Association , says these authentic Provençal products make perfect Christmas presents – something a bit different which reflects the sunshine and warmth of Aix en Provence.
She added: ‘The Bath – Aix Twinning Association is very active with events every month and regular exchange visits – new members always welcome .”
