You know I am no lover of plastic flowers — after all, as a city we are credited with national awards for the real thing.
I often used the weathered garlands around this Bath hairdresser to illustrate how the artificial ones lose their ‘realness’ as they fade over time.
Well, joy of joys — on such a bad international news day, my spirits lifted slightly when I walked past Toni and Guy’s salon yesterday to discover the external plastic flora had gone!!
I am sure they are a great hairdresser and successful business, but I hope they don’t replace the old with new. The salon looks fine and dandy just as it is!
