Two Friday-based events coming up at Bath’s Holburne Museum. The first – tomorrow night – is another ‘Up Late’ evening entitled ‘Festival of Light’.
Celebrating all things light and joyful to mark Diwali, this festival takes place throughout the museum and gardens, inspired by Chila Kumari Singh Burman’s neon installations.
It’s a FREE evening – 5 pm to 9 pm – jam-packed with entertainment for all ages.

Then NEXT Friday – November 1st – leading art critic and broadcaster – Richard Cork, will be discussing his new book Encounters with Artists.
He’ll be sharing his personal encounters with the likes of Louise Bourgeois, Francis Bacon, Henry Moore, David Hockney and Tracey Emin – revealing the personalities behind the art.
There will be a book signing after the talk. Books can be purchased from our shop on the evening.
That’s 7 – 8.30 pm and tickets cost £20 and include a glass of prosecco or non-alcoholic alternative.
