Just the right weather yesterday to cycle across the city and over to Twerton to where More Trees BANES was about to officially open their new central nursery and permanent home.
This Bath-based charity was originally set up in 2008 by Adam Gretton and has since planted around 11,000 trees in and around the city.
To quote from its website: ‘Our vision is of dynamic and diverse tree-rich landscapes that regenerate the environment, our communities and the natural world.”
The charity is always on the look out for more volunteers to help in its work – but more on that later.
