Decided to make myself ‘pic of the day’ for a change. Seems l turned up on Channel 5 on Saturday night as an ingredient in a sort of ‘That Was The Year That Was’ special on the great drought of 1976.
It was the year it did we sweltered in a summer full of ladybirds, scorched crops, sunburn and water stand pipes in the streets.
For me, personally, it was the year l was knocked out by a passing aircraft! You can see it all on YouTube.
