  2. I saw the guy painting them on Tuesday evening while walking home. He had come prepared with lots of tubes of paint . I stopped for a while and stared at him thinking he’s going to get in to trouble for that ! This is not Bristol . It’s Bath . Look at what happened to Primark last year when they painted the columns in Bath Street white ! They spent the whole of last Summer cleaning the paint off ! .

  3. At least the colour hasn’t run, unlike the ones near the theatre which had wobbly red and yellow diagonal stripes on them. A nearby preschool could have done better.
