Social media sensation, Mr Doodle isn’t the only artist whose work is currently on display at Bath’s Holburne Museum.

Though the late artist Henry Moore is maybe better known through his carved marble and larger-scale abstract cast bronze sculptures, the museum is currently exhibiting works that you could literally hold in your hand. In this exhibition, of course, it’s look and not touch!
Many of these are maquettes from some of his best-known public sculptures – alongside lesser-known works.

On Thursday, this week, Henry’s only child, Mary Moore, will be in conversation with the Museum’s Director, Chris Stephens, in a discussion that will explore her father’s life and legacy. That’s at 7pm but the garden cafe will be open from 6pm.
This is such a stunning exhibition.
Bathonians… go see!!!
