This year’s Walk of Life 2024 – the sponsored walk that helps raise vital funds for Bath’s Royal United Hospital – is once more being supported by two local businesses. As lead sponsors – Savills and Buro Happold – have also entered teams.
Kate Miller at Buro Happold said: “We are honoured to support the RUHX Walk of Life event, knowing that our contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Buro Happold have been supporting the RUH charity from their outset, and this event really resonated with us with our company’s passion and ethos for health and wellbeing.
“Whether it’s walking 10 miles or the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles, or donating to show support for those who are taking part, we’re proud to contribute to RUH Bath. Together, we can create positive change and build a healthier community.”

It is a wonderful event, raising much-needed funds for the Royal United Hospital, and is growing in popularity every year. The Walk of Life is organised by the official NHS charity of the RUH Bath, and sees hundreds of people take part in a 10 mile or 26.2 mile walk each year along the Kennet & Avon canal.
This year RUHX has introduced a corporate challenge to the Walk of Life. The charity wants to encourage other local businesses to get involved by entering a team, for the chance to win prizes in three categories: biggest team, most fundraised by the day, and best fancy dress.
