Walked through a banana market in Madurai this morning.
They appear to come in all shapes, sizes and colours too.
The city is in Tamil Nadu state which produces more of the fruit than anywhere else in India.
Great to see something we are used to buying in small supermarket bunches, actually being sold still ‘on the stalk’ so to speak.
