  1. Your photos of Chennai – Madras brought fond memories back to me, my mum was born in Madras in 1926, my grandfather was the government analyst for Tamil Nadu, based at the King Institute. We traveled back there in 2008, where we revisited her childhood haunts. She kept an amusing diary from time to time of her happy child hood there . Happy to share
