It’s the last day today of the Brilliantly Engineered FREE exhibition at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution in Queen Square – and l have got to say l have never seen the ground floor so busy.
After a successful 2023 exhibition, local engineering companies have returned to BRLS for four days to showcase the amazing technology and engineering strength emanating from the South West.
Comprising a community-focused weekend event and student learning workshops during the week, the event has been a fun learning experience for families & kids of all ages; in fact, anyone with an interest in science, technology or engineering!
A range of exhibition stands demonstrating real world applications of science, technology, engineering and maths are on display, with staff on hand to explain the principles involved and discuss the life of an engineer.
Monday and Tuesday has been dedicated to GCSE, A Level and college level Engineering workshops, while Primary Schools will be invited to enjoy the exhibition, watch demonstrations and talk to engineers.
