‘Bath Record Office’s Bath Burial Index, launched online in 2016 (and free!), enables people to locate the burial places of their relatives in Bath and its surrounding area.
It now has over 345,000 records. over 30,000 images of memorials, over 1,000 pages of transcriptions of inscriptions and many maps to help people locate graves.
A recent enhancement has been the addition of further information, including plot locations, for the over 29,000 burials in the Walcot section of Bath’s Locksbrook Cemetery.’
An excellent resource which I have already made much use of. May I also recommend to your readers the Bath BMD website, which records births, marriages and deaths registered in Bath (and thus stretching as far afield as Midsomer Norton, for example) since 1837. It’s very straightforward to use and an invaluable (local) family research tool.
