Sad to hear that Dr Oliver Taylor – Head of Interpretation at Bath Abbey – has moved on to another town and another church.
He has taken on the role of Head of Exhibitions and Events at Winchester Cathedral.
Ollie was very much involved in the Footprint Project at Bath Abbey where he oversaw the creation of its new Discovery Centre and recently published a beautifully illustrated book based on the church’s incredible collection of monuments – the largest of its kind in any UK church or cathedral.
I am hearing he will maintain an ‘advisory capacity’ connection with our parish church and will be involved in a major project which will most definitely show this historic place of worship in a different light later this year.
