Dr Michael Pritchard found a good vantage point to look down on the security barrier works underway at the Bath Abbey end of Cheap Street.
He writes: ‘I know you published a similar view a few weeks ago, but here’s one from last night from Temptations Indian Restaurant – overlooking the site. It seems to be getting there … very slowly.’
The Ring of Steel lumbers slowly on while what this tourist city really needs more than anything is public toilets. It seems bizarre that our council is pursuing a multi million pound project which has a stated aim of keeping people safe from terrorist attacks – between 10.00am and 6.00pm – while failing to invest in public toilets.
