I first met Susan Lewis when she came to HTV West as a copy-taker when she was just 18.
Since then – and during a life that has taken her everywhere from the South of France to Hollywood – she has written 50 books across the genres of family drama, thriller, suspense and crime.
This ‘idiot’ hasn’t read any of them – assuming she wrote romance!! She puts me nicely in my place but also talks about a grounded approach to her life and career.
PS The 51st book will be hitting the shelves next year and it IS about romance.
The 50th book is called No One Saw it Coming – an emotional family drama available in all good bookshops. As are many of her other novels.
