Pix of the day. Saturday, August 26th

Driving along the London Road, we spotted evidence that the metal plant containers have been cleared out.

They are now giant rubbish containers – and evidence that Bath doesn’t appreciate one particular artistic endeavour – unless some sort of community agreement can be reached to maintain them.

The whole idea – along with the new saplings on the central reservation – was to bring Nature back into this traffic-filled street.

Some weeding has also been carried out but there’s more to do at the Bath Rugby Ground end of this major road into our World Heritage city.

  1. Well I guess it’s a start to remove all the weeds that looked dreadful, but unless they replant them asap they will become rubbish containers sadly
