Act naturally

The UK’s largest free celebration of the natural world returns for its 20th anniversary this coming week-end and there’s plenty on the programme for Bath youngsters.

A special festival birthday party for the under 8’s is being held at the centrally-located Apex City of Bath Hotel on June 11th, with free all-day nature activities exploring pollinators such as bees and butterflies, music performances, and hands-on family workshops.

It’s all part of Festival of Nature – organised by the Natural History Consortium – running June 9-18 across the Bristol and Bath region – www.festivalofnature.org.uk

The Natural History Consortium is a collaboration between Avon Wildlife Trust, Bath and Northeast Somerset Council, BBC, Bristol City Council, Bristol Zoo Gardens, Defra, Forestry England, National Trust, Natural England, University of Bath, University of Bristol, University of the West of England, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, and Woodland Trust.
