The gym l now go to overlooks the old Cattle Market car park – next to the Podium and Waitrose.
A perfect vantage point – from my treadmill – to see work starting on dealing with some of the pot-holes leading to the outside parking area.
This, l assume, involves private contractors and the repairs will be limited to the access route involved.
Away from this – and as a man often on two wheels – can l just say how obvious the dire condition of our roads is becoming.
Potholes you have to try and avoid while the depressions on routes like the London Road, and Great Pulteney Street, are major jolts to the neck!!
Are we in danger of sinking into the city’s cellars?
