Well, l have lived in Bath for about twelve years and, in all my cycle trips up onto the canal route into the city, l have never seen the River Avon swamp the path that leads from Grosvenor Bridge and up onto the K & A itself.
It’s a no go for pedestrians and cyclists as of 9 am this morning – unless you’re wearing long wellies that is.
The Bath Rugby training field is almost covered as well.
