Leading a Merry Widow waltz!

Those talented people at Bath Opera are getting giddy going around in circles looking for a vital prop for their next production.

Fiona Gray writes: “I am now doing some work with Bath Opera as a Props Assistant in the run up to our next production – ‘The Merry Widow’ in Bath from 16th-18th Feb at Hayesfield School.

As you may know, we don’t have large budgets to source props and furniture and so are looking to beg, borrow or steal one of the main props needed – a right handed chaise longue (or an open chaise).

Something like this please.

I am hoping someone in Bath has such a thing and might be happy to loan it to us for the production?

We would arrange transport and would take good care of it.

Any chance you can put out a call so our Count Danillo is not sitting on the floor in Act I?”

Consider it done! Good luck!!
