Today’s ‘Pic(s) of the Day’ comes courtesy of Rob Coles who yesterday attended a Ceremony of Remembrance at Firs Field War Memorial at Combe Down in Bath.
He writes: “Attached are some photos of to-days remembrance event on Firs Field at Combe Down.
Including what I thought was a surreal moment when the Colonel in Charge of proceedings was surrounded by children asking questions.
How the subject got around to worms I don’t know but the Colonel told how he studied worms when at school.”
I see the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Michelle O’Doherty, was there to lay a wreath on behalf of the city.
