I am told one of the reasons for the new paving and addition of bollards along the front of Sydney Place is that residents were complaining about cars parked on the pavement.
I don’t mind the look of the bollards and maybe – like in Great Pulteney Street – the concrete slabs will ‘weather’ in time – but the token repair l spotted to the kerb, is not up to a World Heritage city standard.
