It’s good to see art brightening the walls of the RUH in Bath and currently artist Sandra Higgins is curating work at the hospital.

Called ‘Shades of Green’ her work is on display in the main corridor (B) and just off the atrium entrance. Visitors are free to come and see it on a daily basis from 8 am to 8pm and – in groups of up to 5 – can even arrange a guided tour with Sandra via sandra@sandrahiggins.com

Maisie Lewis, Sandra’s assistant tells me:
“The exhibition has been open since May and is open to the public daily until late July.

Sandra is delighted to be able to offer tours of the exhibition by appointment, which is something we’d love to share as far and wide if at all possible. Staff at the hospital and guests we’ve had so far have really enjoyed the exhibition, and particularly its links with the environment.

As part of her time as a curator with the hospital, Sandra has also run curatorial and environmental events including ‘The Green Trail’ – involving a guided walk around some of the wonderful trees on site – which we’ve just posted a blog about on here: https://www.sandrahiggins.art/post/the-green-trail It
