Those hardworking volunteers, who help to keep the Kennet and Avon Canal up to scratch, are currently active on the stretch running through Sydney gardens.
They are busy removing massive tree stumps from shelves alongside the entrances and exits to tunnels and bridges along this section – and then laying turf – seeded with wildflowers – in their place.
It’s going to look gorgeous.
